From dining tent to changing-room structure

Tentmoment was called in to create a complete tent village in Wortegem-Petegem, the location of the event. We built no fewer than 8 tents, along with walkways, terraces, flooring platforms, and more. We also took care of numerous additional requirements, including heating, mobile toilets and carpeting. The absolute eye-catcher was, of course, the 40m x 100m structure, which served as the central event and dining space. This gigantic structure was built together with our partner Veldeman.

Below, we take a closer look at several of the tents and party zones to give you an idea of the scale of this challenging project.

Overview

An essential starting point: the site plan.

As with every project, we also created a detailed plan for this event, clearly defining the location of each tent and providing the client with a clear overall view of the site.

Reception tent

You only get one chance to make a first impression.

In this stylishly decorated reception tent, guests were welcomed to the celebration. This structure, featuring white lining, carpeting and aluminium glass walls, was the first step towards the festivities.

Toilet tent

A corporate event of this scale means a lot of guests. Naturally, sufficient sanitary facilities had to be provided for everyone. For this purpose, we built a tent adjoining the dining tent, with no fewer than 5 VIP mobile toilets positioned alongside it. Thanks to the large toilet capacity and spacious tent, queues in the dining tent were avoided. A partition wall was installed inside the main tent at the entrance to the toilet tent to ensure privacy.

The pleasantly furnished tent, complete with several lounge areas, undoubtedly provided the setting for some enjoyable conversations before or after a visit to the restroom.

Dining & party tent

You simply couldn't miss it, and we already gave it away in the introduction: the absolute eye-catcher of the event was undoubtedly the main tent, a TFS measuring no less than 40m x 100m. The structure was divided into a reception area, event space and backstage area around the stage.

The combination of the black roof, large chandeliers and atmospheric lighting gave this gigantic space a warm and inviting feel. The anthracite-coloured carpet and carefully selected furniture provided the finishing touch.

Changing-room tent with dining area and waiting space

A whole range of artists and acts were brought in for this anniversary celebration to make it an unforgettable evening.

For them, we built a tent that served as a changing room, with custom-made private spaces created using stand construction, ensuring privacy and comfort. Further inside the tent, we also created a dining area where artists and staff could have lunch or relax before their performances.

Spacious kitchen tent

When you need to provide hundreds of guests with delicious food and drinks over several days, a spacious kitchen is certainly no unnecessary luxury. We placed a 20m-wide aluminium structure directly alongside the event facilities, giving the catering team plenty of space to work comfortably.

Terrace flooring on top of the horse arena

The stud farm was also incorporated into the event concept!

On top of the sand, we installed a custom-made terrace floor using cassette flooring, creating an additional party area. Around the arena, where carriages are normally parked, space was created for cosy seating areas and standing tables.
