Opening of Europe’s first semi-public charging station for trucks

Shell and transport company Remitrans opened Europe’s first semi-public fast-charging station for electric trucks in Ath in November 2025. The station is accessible to third parties during the day via Shell Recharge, while Remitrans uses it at night for its own e-trucks. A first and an important step in the further electrification of heavy transport!

A professional setting for a unique launch

Commissioned by TMAB Business Events, we provided the temporary event infrastructure for the official opening of the charging station. We installed a tent structure equipped with a combination of glass windows and solid walls, creating a professional setting to optimally welcome guests during this special milestone.
