A setting inspired by the sea
In 2026, the King Baudouin Foundation celebrates its 50th anniversary. To mark this occasion, a festive gala took place in Ostend in September, entirely inspired by the beach and the sea. On behalf of The Friends by Verhulst, we provided the tent infrastructure for this event.
We built a stylish entrance tent with white wooden windows and doors, as well as a raised structure measuring 20 x 50 metres. This was divided into an entrance area and a plenary area with an LED wall and stage. With a side height of 5.4 metres, the tent also formed the connection with the Aceg Wellington Hippodrome.
Comfort in all weather conditions
The weather can be unpredictable. Fortunately, our tent structures always provide a comfortable and sheltered event environment, whatever the weather conditions.
As the weather was not entirely on our side during the event, we also provided a walkway tent leading to the Royal Box.
A beautiful overall result thanks to strong partnerships
For this project, we went beyond the tent structures themselves. Together with our partners, we provided a complete solution, from carpeting and draping to heating, sanitary facilities and lighting. All elements came together to create a stylish and atmospheric setting.
A challenging turnkey project in which strong collaboration between all parties involved made all the difference.
